This is a reprint….1st published in a 2012 Launch Magazine handed out at a live event. These words are as true today as they were then and I couldn’t help but share.
From The Entrepreneur’s Assistant
Anyone who knows me knows I am a Goal Setter. I love the excitement and thrill that comes along with seeing what I’ve mapped out on paper come to life. Although the road to success may not always be straight, there is always a lesson at every turn. A few lessons I’ve learned along the way include:
- I can’t expect others to have the same passion for my hopes and dreams! (they may have some dreams of their own)
- I can’t do it ALL alone! (get help when needed & stay in your lane)
- and last but not least….I have to decide to keep moving forward even when speed bumps slow me down or my car (a.k.a. my body) runs out of gas!
I’m always planning and constantly dreaming about living the life I write about in my journals. A life where I set my own schedule. A life where I’m the boss of me! A life I can live from anywhere in the world.
What’s your biggest dream? Where do you want to be in the next year or 30 days from now?
Now ask yourself…
What’s stopping me from Possessing My Dream? What do you have to do from this point forward to live the life you desire?
When I asked these questions of myself, I discovered that the only ‘thing’ holding me back was ME! From that moment I decided to get my act together and take action daily to live the way I choose.
to be diligent
to act quickly on ideas
to design the life of my dreams
to create my own opportunities!
Everyday I get out of bed I choose to Possess and Live the Dream! No one can do that for me but ME. I have the ultimate power to motivate myself.
I want to take time to say “Thank You” to everyone who has stayed the course with me on this journey. One other thing I’ve learned along the way is Teamwork really makes the Dreamwork. I could not have made it this far without you.
To Your Success,
P.S. Please leave your comments below. What changes will you have to make? How much do you really want it. I’d love to hear from you.
